01 — Treatment

Implants, finished on the same arch.

When a tooth is lost, the bone underneath begins to retreat the same week. An implant gives the bone a reason to stay. Every implant we place is planned in 3D, finished with a crown made in our own lab, and calibrated to the bite it has to live inside.

What this includes
01

Single Dental Implants

When one tooth is missing, we restore it without involving its neighbours. A titanium root is placed into the gap; once it has integrated with the bone — usually three to four months — it is finished with a Zirconium or E-max crown matched to the surrounding teeth in shape, translucency and shade. The adjacent teeth stay untouched, which is the meaningful difference between an implant and a bridge.

02

All-on-4 / All-on-6

For a fully edentulous arch — or for arches where the remaining teeth are beyond saving — four (or six) implants carry the entire restoration. Where bone quality allows it, we perform same-day immediate loading: you leave the chair with a fixed temporary the same visit, and return some months later for the final Zirconium bridge once the implants have integrated. Typical end-to-end timeline is four to six months.

03

Zygomatic Implants

When the upper jaw has lost too much bone to hold a conventional implant, the alternative used to be a year of staged bone grafts. Zygomatic implants bypass that — they anchor into the cheekbone (the zygoma) instead of the depleted alveolar ridge. We reach for them selectively, only when the alternative is no implant at all, and only after the case has been planned in 3D and reviewed with the patient.

04

Bone Grafting & Sinus Lift

Where bone has retreated to the point an implant cannot find purchase, we rebuild the foundation first. Sinus lift for the upper back teeth; ridge augmentation for lateral loss. Healing time depends on the volume rebuilt — typically four to six months — and the implant is placed once the new bone has matured.

The visit-by-visit plan
  1. Trip 1 · Day 1 — arrival

Consultation in person or by video, full clinical examination, 3D CBCT scan, and a digital treatment plan you see on screen before any decision is made.

  2. Trip 1 · Days 2 to 5 — departure

Implant placement under local anaesthesia (sedation available). For All-on-4 cases with sufficient bone, an immediate fixed temporary is fitted the same day. The first trip is four nights, five days.

  3. Healing window — 3 to 6 months

You fly home while the implant integrates with the bone (osseointegration) — no need to stay in Antalya. We keep in contact and review healing photos remotely.

  4. Trip 2 · 5 nights, 6 days

You return for a second trip of five nights, six days. The final crown or bridge is produced and fitted in our in-house lab, the bite calibrated and polished, and your aftercare protocol issued. Annual remote review thereafter.

Materials we use
  • Medical-grade titanium implant bodies (Grade 4 / Grade 5)
  • Zirconium dioxide crowns where bite force matters (posterior, full arch)
  • E-max lithium disilicate where light transmission matters (anterior)
  • Custom abutments shaped to the gum margin, not stock geometry
Who this is for
  • Adults missing one or more teeth, or with failing existing bridges and dentures
  • Sufficient overall health for minor oral surgery — discussed at consultation
  • Non-smokers, or willing to pause smoking through the integration window
  • Patients seeking a fixed alternative to a removable denture
FAQ
How much does a dental implant cost at Tantalya?

A single implant starts at €350 for a certified Turkish-origin system and rises to about €1,500 for premium Swiss and Straumann lines. The abutment and the zirconia crown (€150–300) are separate lines, so a finished single implant tooth typically lands at €500–800 with a Turkish-origin system. You receive the itemised written plan, in euros, before you book a flight.

How many days do I need in Antalya, and how many visits?

Placement is usually one trip of 3–5 days: CBCT scan and consultation, surgery, a rest day and a review before you fly. The permanent crown follows after osseointegration, typically 3–6 months later, on a short second visit — or it can be fitted by your own dentist from the crown we ship. Your surgeon confirms the schedule from your scan.

Is implant treatment at Tantalya safe?

Tantalya holds the Ministry of Health International Health Tourism authorisation ST-2095, plans every case from a 3D CBCT scan and places only named, certified implant systems whose passport is registered to you. Surgery is done by our in-house oral and maxillofacial surgeon, and restorations come from the clinic's own laboratory.

What guarantee do I get on implants?

Implant fixtures carry the manufacturer's lifetime guarantee, registered in your name; E.max and zirconia restorations carry Tantalya's 5-year written guarantee covering material failure. Both are issued in writing before treatment. The guarantee does not cover trauma, untreated bruxism without the prescribed night guard, missed annual check-ups or alterations by another dentist without prior agreement.

What happens if an implant fails after I fly home?

Send photos to your coordinator on WhatsApp; the treating dentist reviews them within the week and replies in writing. A guarantee case is re-treated at Tantalya at no treatment charge — travel is yours. If you need urgent local care, we release your full records the same day so a dentist at home can act. Third-party fees are not covered unless agreed in writing beforehand.
