Porcelain Veneers in Turkey
"Veneers in Turkey" is one of the most searched cosmetic-dentistry phrases — and also one of the most misunderstood. This page explains what E.max veneers actually cost, how long a makeover takes, and why a natural result depends on the plan, not just the price.
From €180 per veneer
Why Turkey for veneers
A porcelain veneer that costs €700–1,200 in Western Europe starts at €180 in Antalya, so a full smile makeover that would be unaffordable at home becomes realistic. The risk is clinics that over-prepare healthy teeth for speed — which is exactly what a careful plan avoids.
E.max veneers cost in Turkey in 2026
At Tantalya, E.max porcelain veneers and crowns start at €180 per unit. Composite bonding is a lower-cost, less invasive option for smaller corrections. The number of units you actually need — not the per-unit price alone — drives the total, so we quote a unit count after seeing your smile.
How long a veneer makeover takes
A typical porcelain veneer case is completed in one trip of about 5–7 days: design and preparation early in the week, then fitting once the lab has crafted each unit. Our in-house laboratory keeps that timeline tight without rushing the fit.
Natural results, not "Turkey teeth"
The bright, bulky, identical look people call "Turkey teeth" comes from aggressive prep and one-size shades. We design to your face and bite, preserve healthy enamel where we can, and choose translucency and shade that read as real — that is the whole point of doing it well.
See and choose your veneer shade in person
Shade is where veneer makeovers succeed or fail. At the clinic you compare real zirconia and E.max samples — from natural through to brighter Hollywood shades — and match your veneers to your face before they are crafted, rather than approving a number on a chart.
Who veneers are for — and who should be told no
Veneers suit discoloured, chipped, worn, slightly uneven or spaced teeth with broadly sound enamel. A heavily filled or cracked tooth needs a crown; a genuinely crowded bite may be better straightened first, meaning fewer veneers or none; active gum disease is treated before any cosmetic work. "Which teeth actually need one" is the question the plan answers, tooth by tooth.
E.max veneer prices in Turkey, itemised (2026)
Published Tantalya prices in euros; the pound column is indicative at about 0.86 £/€.
| Item | Price (EUR) | ≈ £ (indicative) |
|---|---|---|
| E.max veneer, lower tier — single-shade unit, little to correct | from €180 per tooth | ≈ £155 |
| E.max veneer, upper tier — layered high-translucency unit or colour-masking over a dark tooth | up to €400 per tooth | ≈ £344 |
| Composite bonding — the conservative alternative for a chipped edge or small gap | €120–220 per tooth | ≈ £103–189 |
| 8 upper veneers — the typical visible smile line | ≈ €1,440–3,200 | ≈ £1,240–2,750 |
| 16–20 tooth makeover, both arches | €3,000–8,000 | ≈ £2,580–6,880 |
Totals are the per-tooth price multiplied by the count fixed in your written plan; teeth that do not need a veneer are left alone.
What is sometimes added to a veneer plan
Groundwork first, veneers second. Items without a published price are itemised after CBCT, never guessed.
| Add-on | When your dentist proposes it | Price (EUR) |
|---|---|---|
| Zirconia crown instead of a veneer | A heavily filled, cracked or root-treated tooth that cannot carry a thin facing | €150–300 per crown |
| Composite bonding on neighbouring teeth | Small gaps or edges outside the veneer line, so fewer teeth are veneered | €120–220 per tooth |
| Whitening before shade selection | When un-veneered teeth must first be brought nearer the chosen shade | quoted per case after CBCT |
| Root canal treatment or extraction | An infected nerve or a tooth beyond saving, dealt with before veneer work | quoted per case after CBCT |
| Provisional veneers · night guard | Cover between preparation and fit; a guard if bruxism is diagnosed | quoted per case after CBCT |
An honest blank beats an invented price.
Your veneer week in Antalya
Usually one trip of about 5–7 days. The order is typical; your dentist sets the pace after seeing your teeth.
- Day 1 Arrival, records, shade
Transfer, consultation, photographs, X-rays or CBCT, intra-oral scan. You choose a shade from real E.max samples in daylight; nothing is made yet.
- Day 2 Design and trial smile
The design built on your scan is shown as a trial smile over your own teeth. Changes happen here, reversibly, before any enamel is touched.
- Day 3 Minimal preparation
Teeth are prepared as conservatively as the approved design allows — some may need none — and the final scan goes to the in-house laboratory.
- Day 4 Laboratory day
The ceramist crafts and characterises each unit. Usually a free day for you.
- Day 5 Try-in and bonding
Each veneer is tried in for fit, shade and shape while you watch, then bonded; the bite is adjusted.
- Day 6–7 Review and departure
Final check of bite and margins, written aftercare protocol, records pack, airport transfer. Day 6 or 7 depends on unit count and what your dentist wants to re-check.
Typical timings, not promises: gum treatment or a root canal first can add days, and we say so before you book flights.
The written guarantee on veneers
| Item | Duration | Covered | Not covered / voids |
|---|---|---|---|
| E.max porcelain veneer | 5 years — Tantalya's written guarantee | Material failure; repair or re-manufacture at Tantalya | Accidental trauma · untreated bruxism without the prescribed night guard · missed annual check-ups · periodontal neglect · alteration by another dentist without prior written agreement |
| Zirconia crown, where one is in the plan | 5 years, written | Material failure; repair or re-manufacture | Same exclusions |
| Composite bonding | Repairable material — no long guarantee claimed | Repairs quoted per case | Normal staining and wear |
Issued in writing in your treatment file before treatment starts. An implant in a combined plan carries the manufacturer's lifetime guarantee on the fixture, registered to you.
If a veneer chips or comes off after you fly home
The cited debonding rate for ceramic veneers is about 2%, so it is uncommon — but here is the process, not a reassurance. One: WhatsApp the coordinator with photographs; keep the veneer if it came off whole. Two: your treating dentist reviews within the week and replies in writing.
Three: a guarantee case — material failure inside the 5-year term — is repaired or re-made at Tantalya at no treatment charge; the travel is yours. Four: if you need urgent local care first, your full records are released the same day so a dentist near you can re-bond or place a temporary. Third-party fees are not covered unless agreed with us in writing beforehand.
Aftercare for veneers
Porcelain does not decay; the tooth under it can. The written protocol goes home with you.
- Eat gently while the bite settles — usually a few days, your dentist will say — then keep front teeth away from nails, ice and packet-opening.
- Non-abrasive toothpaste and a soft brush twice a day; floss or interdental brushes daily, drawn out sideways at the margins.
- Night guard every night if prescribed: grinding is the usual cause of chipped veneers, and an unworn guard voids the guarantee.
- Hygiene visits with your home dentist as they advise, typically twice a year, with non-abrasive polishing paste.
- Annual digital check-up: photographs, a short video or a local dentist's intra-oral scan, reviewed by your treating dentist with a written reply — it keeps the guarantee valid.
- Records pack at departure: treatment plan PDF, itemised invoice, X-rays and CBCT where taken, and the shade and material noted for each tooth.
- Healing photographs reviewed remotely in the first weeks; the clinic stays reachable during the trip and after.

Tantalya is responsible for the clinical work and the written 5-year guarantee on E.max and zirconia; you are responsible for hygiene, the annual check-ups and the night guard if one is prescribed; where an implant forms part of a combined plan, its manufacturer covers the fixture under its own warranty. As a Ministry-authorised provider (ST-2095) the clinic is subject to Turkish patient-rights law and Ministry inspection, and a dispute can be raised with the Ministry of Health's International Health Tourism unit.
For UK patients
The NHS does not fund veneers or any cosmetic dentistry, and a private veneer in the UK is roughly €600–1,200 (≈ £516–1,032) — the gap that sends UK patients to Turkey and made "Turkey teeth" a UK phrase. The General Dental Council regulates UK dentists only; its advice for going abroad is a written plan, a named clinician and an aftercare path.
Tantalya's answers: a treating dentist licensed by the Turkish Ministry of Health and registered with the Turkish Dental Association; clinic authorisation ST-2095; CE/ISO certification; an ITI-member lead dentist; plan and 5-year guarantee in English before treatment starts. Your UK dentist keeps you on their books with the records pack in hand.
- 8 E.max veneers ≈ €1,440–3,200 (≈ £1,240–2,750, rate indicative)
- Direct flights UK → Antalya about 4–4.5 hours; the clinic is about 15 minutes from the airport; flights and hotel are yours, transfers arranged
