Hollywood Smile in Turkey

A "Hollywood smile" is a full set of veneers or crowns designed to give an even, bright smile. The cost depends almost entirely on how many teeth are treated — and the difference between a beautiful result and an obvious one comes down to the design. Here is what it costs in Turkey and how we keep it natural.

From €180 per veneer

What a Hollywood smile actually is

It is a full smile makeover — typically the upper front 8–10 teeth, sometimes both arches (16–20 units) — using veneers or crowns to create a uniform, brighter line. The term describes the result, not a single product; how the teeth are prepared underneath is what matters.

How many veneers, and what it costs

At Tantalya, E.max veneers start at €180 per veneer, so the total scales with the number of units. Many patients need fewer than they expect — we plan the minimum that achieves the result rather than veneering teeth that do not need it. You get an exact unit count and total in a written plan.

Bright but natural — avoiding the over-done look

The "fake" Hollywood smile comes from blinding-white, identical, bulky units on over-shaved teeth. We design to your facial proportions, choose a shade and translucency that suit you, and preserve enamel with minimal-prep veneers wherever possible. The goal is a smile people notice — not one they can tell is veneers.

Timeline for a Hollywood smile

A full case is usually completed in one trip of about 5–7 days: smile design and preparation early on, then fitting once our in-house laboratory has crafted each unit. The on-site lab keeps the timeline tight without rushing the fit.

Pick your brightness in person

Hollywood does not have to mean blinding. Before we make anything, you choose your shade and style from a physical library of real zirconia and E.max arch samples — comparing a brighter Hollywood Style against a more natural one in the same light you will be seen in. You decide how bright is right for your face.

8, 10, 16 or 20 — how the count is decided

The count follows your smile, not a package. How many teeth show when you smile broadly sets the upper line — often 8, for wide smiles 10. The lower arch is added only when it shows and would clash; whitening or a little bonding often blends it for far less than ten more veneers. The trial smile on day 2 is where you see the difference before any tooth is touched.

Hollywood smile cost in Turkey by tooth count and material (2026)

Priced per tooth, so the count decides the total. Published Tantalya prices in euros; pounds indicative at about 0.86 £/€.

ScopeMaterialPrice (EUR)≈ £ (indicative)

16–20 teethE.max veneers or crowns across both arches€3,000–8,000≈ £2,580–6,880

A 10-unit line is itemised the same way, tooth by tooth. A whole-mouth smile at one implausible flat price usually means crowns cut fast on healthy teeth; we do not sell packages.

What a full smile sometimes needs first

The wider the makeover, the likelier one tooth needs groundwork. Unpublished items are itemised after CBCT.

Add-onWhy it appears in a Hollywood smile planPrice (EUR)
Zirconia crown in place of a veneerA root-treated, cracked or heavily filled tooth inside the smile line€150–300 per crown
Composite bonding on lower or back teethTo blend teeth outside the veneered line instead of veneering them too€120–220 per tooth
Whitening of untreated teethSo lower or back teeth sit closer to the new shade when only the upper line is veneeredquoted per case after CBCT
Root canal treatment or extractionAn infected nerve or a tooth that cannot be saved, treated before the designquoted per case after CBCT
Provisional smile · night guardCover between preparation and fit on larger cases; a guard is advised on most full-arch casesquoted per case after CBCT

Active gum disease is treated first, not veneered over.

A full smile makeover, day by day

About 5–7 days is usual; 16–20 unit cases sit at the longer end. Typical order — your dentist decides how much is done in each sitting.

  1. Day 1
    Records, face and shade

Transfer, consultation, photographs of your face at rest and smiling, X-rays or CBCT, intra-oral scan. You compare real arch samples and decide how bright is right for your face.

  2. Day 2
    Smile design and trial smile

The design follows your facial proportions and lip line, then sits over your teeth as a trial smile. Length, edge shape and brightness are adjusted here, reversibly.

  3. Day 3
    Preparation, one arch or both

Minimal preparation where the design needs it; on two-arch cases your dentist decides whether the lower follows tomorrow. Final scan to the in-house laboratory.

  4. Day 4
    Laboratory day

The units are crafted and characterised together so they match each other and your shade. Usually a free day.

  5. Day 5
    Try-in and bonding

Every unit is tried in together — judged as one smile, not tooth by tooth — then bonded, and the bite balanced across the arch.

  6. Day 6–7
    Bite review and departure

A second look at the bite once you have eaten on it, final polish, aftercare protocol, records pack, airport transfer. Larger cases usually use day 7.

Typical timings, not fixed: root canal work, extractions or gum treatment add days, and we say so before you book flights.

Written guarantee across the smile

Composite bondingRepairable — no long guarantee claimedRepairs quoted per caseNormal staining and wear

Issued in writing before treatment starts. On a full-arch case the night guard is the condition most often breached, not small print. An implant in a combined plan carries the manufacturer's lifetime guarantee on the fixture.

If one unit fails after you fly home

With 16–20 units, one needing attention over the years is a real possibility — chipping about 4%, debonding about 2% in the literature — so the process matters more than the promise. One: WhatsApp the coordinator with photographs, keeping the unit if it came off whole. Two: your treating dentist reviews within the week and replies in writing.

Three: a guarantee case is repaired or re-made at Tantalya at no treatment charge, matched to its neighbours by the laboratory that made them; the travel is yours. Four: for urgent local care, full records are released the same day so a local dentist can act. Third-party fees are not covered unless agreed in writing beforehand.

Looking after a full smile

More units, same habits — they simply matter more. The written protocol goes home with you.

  • Softer eating while the bite settles across the arch — usually a few days, your dentist will say; afterwards no nails, ice or tearing packets with the front teeth.
  • Non-abrasive toothpaste, soft brush, twice a day; floss or interdental brushes daily, drawn out sideways at the margins.
  • Night guard every night if prescribed — it protects every unit at once, and an unworn guard voids the guarantee.
  • Hygiene visits with your home dentist as they advise, typically every six months, with non-abrasive polishing paste.
  • Annual digital check-up: photographs, a short video or a local dentist's intra-oral scan, reviewed by your treating dentist with a written reply — it keeps the guarantee valid.
  • Records pack at departure: treatment plan PDF, itemised invoice, X-rays and CBCT where taken, plus the shade and material recorded for each unit.
  • Coffee, red wine and smoking do not stain porcelain but do stain composite — worth knowing if bonding is part of your smile.

Failure rates for a Hollywood smile, cited

A smile of 16–20 units multiplies per-unit risk, which is one reason we plan the minimum count.

Tantalya is responsible for the clinical work and the written 5-year guarantee on E.max and zirconia; you are responsible for hygiene, the annual check-ups and the night guard if one is prescribed; where an implant forms part of a combined plan, its manufacturer covers the fixture under its own warranty. As a Ministry-authorised provider (ST-2095) the clinic is subject to Turkish patient-rights law and Ministry inspection, and a dispute can be raised with the Ministry of Health's International Health Tourism unit.

For UK patients

"Turkey teeth" is a UK phrase for exactly this treatment done badly: healthy teeth shaved to pegs for a fast, blinding, identical set. The remedy is not to stay home — the NHS does not fund cosmetic work, and at roughly €600–1,200 (≈ £516–1,032) per private veneer the arithmetic is rarely what stops people — but to apply the General Dental Council's checklist: a written plan, a named clinician, an aftercare path. The GDC regulates UK dentists only, so those checks are yours to make.

Tantalya's answers, in English and in writing: a plan listing every tooth, its material and its price; a treating dentist licensed by the Turkish Ministry of Health and registered with the Turkish Dental Association; authorisation ST-2095; CE/ISO certification; an ITI-member lead dentist; a 5-year guarantee. Your UK dentist keeps you on their books with the records pack.

FAQ

How much does a Hollywood smile cost in Turkey?

It depends on the number of teeth treated. At Tantalya, E.max veneers start at €180 per veneer, and a typical upper makeover is 8–10 units. You receive an exact unit count and total in a written plan.

How many veneers do you need for a Hollywood smile?

Usually the upper front 8–10 teeth, sometimes both arches (16–20). We plan the minimum that achieves your result rather than veneering teeth that do not need it.

Are Hollywood smiles veneers or crowns?

Ideally minimal-prep veneers, which preserve more natural tooth. Crowns remove much more and should only be used where a tooth genuinely needs one. We avoid crowning healthy teeth just to fit a package faster.

Will a Hollywood smile look natural?

Yes, when it is designed to your face rather than to one bright shade. We pick translucency and colour that suit you and preserve enamel where possible, avoiding the over-white, bulky "Turkey teeth" look.
